A veneer is made from porcelain, and covers the front surface of your front teeth. They are commonly seen when a patient has heavily filled, broken or stained front teeth, as they offer a better cosmetic solution to regular tooth-coloured filling material.

Veneers are not the only option for patients wishing to transform their smile. We also have cosmetic crowns that can be done for teeth that are not suitable for veneers. Composite veneers, wherein filling material is used to reshape the teeth, is also an alternative to veneers. These options are best discussed with your dentist to determine the best course of action.
