Have you lost a tooth when you were younger and have been left with a gap? Or have you had a tooth extraction and would like a tooth replacement? Are your teeth breaking beyond restoration? Dental implants are a great cosmetic solution to replace a previously lost tooth. They are stronger than other types of tooth replacements such as dentures, and consist of a metal screw that is placed in the jaw bone with a ceramic crown placed on top. Implants can be used as a single or multiple tooth replacement.

  • What is THE PROCESS?

    Every mouth is different, and so too are the implants we fit for you. The initial implant is undertaken at a specialist practice, which we can refer you too at your first appointment with us. They will fit the screw and complete the surgical process. Once healed, we will scan your mouth to take digital impressions and send these to one of our quality checked lab partners to make a custom fit crown for you. Once we have received it, we will fit it to your implant and the process leaves you with a fully functional tooth.

    Only an implant specialist can fit the screw for your implant. In Canberra, ,we have many excellent implant specialists we can refer you too after discussing your personal goals for your new tooth. Our reception team will then assist you in creating the first consultation with your implant specialist to begin the process.
