In 2002, Ali joined the team at Unique Dental Care. in 2007, he and his wife, Dr Ebar Hamood, took over as principal dentsits of unique dental care. Dr Ali Graduated in 1992 with a bachelor of dental suregey and he holds a New Zealand qualification (dcnxzre) dated 1999. Dr Ali took a position within the academic teaching team at University of Otago in the 1990’s as a clinical tutor and examiner. It was here that his interests in dental related anxiety were further developed. Ali also has a strong interest in temporomandibular joint issues, anti-snoring devices and obstructive sleep apnoea .
